PCN is the largest grower of aquatic plants in the Midlands, established for 40 years supplying garden centres & retail outlets.

ALL marginal plants & water lilies sold are guaranteed hardy. Plants sold in February & March are well established in pots/ mesh baskets during the Summer months and then hardened off outside in shallow ponds over Winter. Some growers force early root and leaf growth using heated greenhouses. Plants simply wilt after frosty nights or even in cold winds making them unsaleable through Spring and the busiest period. Quality established plants at competitive prices, with a huge range to suit every customer's requirement.

Delivery & Postage

Weekly deliveries March through to end of August with minimum order quantities £200 provided PCN vehicles in vicinity. Reliable postage/ couriers/ horticultural haulage also available for smaller quantities & outlets outside regular delivery areas.

Availability & Price Lists

EPOS & Labelling

PCN has developed its own range of aquatic labels with accurate planting depths, heights, flowering months & descriptions of each variety. In addition, each variety has an individual barcode for stock control on EPOS systems. Barcode templates are e-mailed which can be copied straight onto EPOS systems with all plant, barcode, pricing, order quantity included.

Most marginal plants are equally happy in shallow water, damp soil or bog gardens. Planting depth 0-10cm = damp soil to 10cm of water above soil level.

Floating plants provide shelter & shade for fish & other pondlife.

Also, reduce algae by reducing light to water & removing nutrients from the water via floating roots.

Deep water aquatics are an alternative to water lilies as they are very tolerant to shade & have very different leaf & flower characteristics.
